Community, Family and Children's Services will meet with families in her office, Room 445 in the Main Legislative Building. Space is limited, so please let me know if you wish to join this meeting (limit will be about 10 people). Please let me know if you wish to attend, in case we need to find a larger room.

11:30 am Press Conference in the Media Studio (Room 149, Main Floor, in the Main Legislative Building).

12:00 - 1:30 Lunch break. There is a cafeteria downstairs. Or you may wish to have a picnic on the grounds if weather permits.

1:30-3:30 Question Period in the Legislature. If the Liberal Party agrees to raise a question in the Legislature on our behalf, you may wish to attend this session. There is a wheelchair-accessible gallery. We will also request a meeting with Minister Brenda Elliott at 3:30pm, at which time all families present will have a opportunity to join the meeting.

Parking is challenging in this area, so allow for the extra time required if you bring your car.

We will address the main issues that concern families across the province. i.e. families want options and choices that lead to better lives and better opportunities. Families want the option of individualized funding which is an essential tool for individuals to have control of their lives. They also want improvements in the Special Services at Home Program. People with disabilities and their families must have a voice in policy development in order for these changes to be implemented properly.

R.S.V.P. (if you haven't done so already)
